OLI-Sistemas Sanitários S.A., founded in 1954 in Aveiro, is the largest cistern producer in Southern Europe and owns OLI, a global brand of bath solutions, present in 80 countries on five continents.

In the large and modern industrial complex, with a total area of 82 thousand square meters and 389 employees, the entire value chain is controlled - from idea to industrialization, production and commercialization. The factory, recognized for innovation and awarded for efficiency, works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and ensures weekly production of 43 700 flushing cisterns and 64 000 mechanisms.

Over the years, OLI has created products that have, on a global scale, changed the daily experience in the bathroom. The WC has become more efficient and environmentally friendly, comfortable and accessible.

Over 20 years ago OLI was responsible for the mass production of the dual flush in flushing cisterns, an innovation now present all over the world and responsible for reducing water consumption by 50%.

Using patented technology and high quality manufacturing standards, OLI is recognized for constantly studying new and better solutions that increase water efficiency and accessibility for people with reduced mobility. From inlet valves, which allow the quick and silent filling of the cistern, to the resistant self-supporting structures that allow the user to adjust the height of the toilet.

Committed to sustainable development, the brand develops versatile solutions for application in new construction, and rehabilitation and renovation projects, with a contemporary design.

OLI believes in a water-efficient bathroom that is comfortable, accessible and safe for all to use. OLI will continue to be defined by innovation.

Since 1993, the company has been part of Silmar Group, headquartered in Italy, which operates in four sectors: heating, aluminium, plumbing and drainage, and fire safety. The group has 2957 employees and in 2017 had an annual turnover of 907 million euros.
